A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented lesson format in which most or all the information that learners work with comes from the web. The model was developed by Bernie Dodge at San Diego State University in February, 1995.
Parts of a WebQuest:
1. INTRODUCTION - Grabs the reader's attention 2. TASK- Describes what the learner will have learned by the end of the lesson 3. PROCESS- Lists the steps needed to complete the lesson 4. RESOURCES- Links needed or used to complete the lesson 5. EVALUATION- Includes rubrics or other grading system 6. CONCLUSION- Sum's up the lesson 7. TEACHER PAGE - Optional. Information about the teacher and/or a complete list of links used.
